Membership in the SNRI is organized into categories of investigators: primary, clinical, associate, and affiliate. Primary investigator status requires a full time, tenure-track appointment at Indiana University, eligibility to be a member of the Graduate Faculty, and an actively funded basic neuroscience research program. In addition to research, primary investigators are expected to participate in teaching and research training missions of the SNRI as appropriate.
