Indiana University School of Medicine's Stark Neurosciences Research Institute and the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology to host the Midwest Regional Pain Interest Group Meeting June 18 and 19, 2010

The Midwest Pain Interest Group Meeting is an annual meeting of basic scientists, clinicians, and their trainees that work in the pain field. This year it is being hosted by the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute and the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the Indiana University School of Medicine, in beautiful downtown Indianapolis. The meeting takes place over two days. On Friday we will have an afternoon poster session and reception at theUniversity Place Conference Center and Hotel. Saturday will consist of nine 15 minute presentations and a presentation by our plenary speaker, Vania Apkarian from Northwestern University.

Hotel Information

A block of rooms has been reserved for the evening of Friday June 18th at the University Place Conference Center and Hotel at a discounted rate. The poster session will be in the hotel and it is a short walk from the hotel to the IUSM campus building where the Saturday morning sessions are held.

Reservations must be made by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 by calling 1-800-627-2700 (select Option #1). In order to receive the discounted hotel rate, mention the Pain Interest Group Conference when you make reservations. 

Guests are responsible for their own room, tax and incidental charges. Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. Hotel Bell staff can arrange to store luggage until departure. The hotel rates are $139.00 plus tax for a single and $159.00 plus tax for a double.
